Fifty-six years ago my rich uncle provided me with an all expense paid cruise of the South Pacific, making port in two Australian ports, Sydney and Darwin as we are visiting now. By the way, Judee wasn't invited to go along on the 1968 cruise.
Now, 56 years later I am visiting some of the same ports as the first time, but this time around I'm making the cruise on a much bigger vessel and I didn't even have to work for my own passage. However, I did have pay my own way:
